Currently sitting in my living room at home. Wellington lays beside me, in his little gray coat and kitty paws. Glee runs on and on in front of me, but I'm not really watching. The occasional text message buzzes and reminds me of what has been with me all along. I'm going to be okay, give me some time. Wherever I go, I'll be.
Today's cool wind blows through the windows and follows a trail down the hallway, into my sunlit room. As the blinds, white and waving, touch each other while they rustle in the wind, it makes the sound of footsteps coming my way. I close my eyes and imagine.. You tiptoe up the stairs to my apartment.. Open the door ever so quietly.. And as I write this, you're making your way down the hall, with cherry blossoms.. And you're standing behind me, pouring love down on me, and kiss me on my cheek. You are my brother, my love. And I'm home.
There's something so refreshing about spending the day, doing laundry and cleaning up your room. Currently, my deep purple sheets are hung up in the windows, and they look like the walls lining a bazaar. As I wander around my empty flat, it smells like fresh flowers, and I feel so much more peaceful than how I felt earlier in the day. My desk is lined with tea candles, lit and glowing with my desk lamps, and our Christmas lights that decorate the hall. They all bring a sense of warmth into this oftentimes empty heart of mine.
Life can be frustrating, overwhelming, heartbreaking, and disappointing, but at least we can go to bed with the knowledge that tomorrow brings new opportunities for us to grow, and be lovelier people than the day before.
Than to enjoy the rest of your days in peace, harmony, and love. That the ones around you may love you as unconditionally as you deserve. That your heart will be renewed daily by the pure joy that surrounds you. May your walk be lovely, with the one you choose to follow. I wish you the best of everything.
I heart baseball. I started getting into baseball, especially the San Francisco Giants, about a year and a half ago, and have absolutely adored it ever since. I've tried football and basketball, but they've never snagged my heart like baseball has. A dear friend and I went to a Giants game at Dodger stadium yesterday, and had such a good time watching them totally crush the Dodgers 10-1.

Question of the blog:
Are you a big fan of sports? What is your favorite, or most tolerated, sport? Who is your team?
Give me a moment to bitch about the people that live on campus with me.
I put my laundry in the washer at 5:30 pm. The washer takes exactly 37 minutes to do its thang, and there are 4 washers. I go to pick my laundry up one hour later, so it has been sitting unattended for a whopping 23 minutes. Some idiot took my wet laundry out of the washer to do whatever the hell they needed to do, but there was nothing in any of the washers! The person just pulled my stuff out! For no reason! All washers were empty! WHO EVEN DOES THAT?
Question of the blog:
Do you have to share a washer/dryer with other people? What is your idea of good laundry etiquette?
